| I thought that Canada was where they actually made it illegal to hit your kids with anything you could get your hands on, unlike here in America where pretty much anything is fair game. However, apparently like in Canada, during a custody hearing, the mother has to nearly kill the kid a few times before the father can get custody, unless the mother gives him the kid; so it is pretty much up to her. |

| My family was affected by things like this. The mother will always get the child within most cases. I can't remember the exact %, but it's in the 90's. We have a thing called Fathers For Justice in England. They're really cool!! |
