| Learn how to talk for a starters, if you want people to listen to your argument. Secondly, they aren't there to kill. They are there to protect inocent workers, who otherwise would be killed, and have their heads sawed off just as we all witnessed a few years back. They cannot engage without being shot at first. They aren't free from law. |

| Couldn't be more wrong. Blackwater employs the best. Not even regular army soldiers(with experience in iraq) get employed by them, as they have more experienced people to choose from. |

| I think what you mean is they die in combat because when they are taking heavy fire who are they going to call the guy next to them or maybe a little bird if they are lucky. Whereas with the US soldiers they can call in a c-130 flying over head, a F-18 that will be there in 10 seconds, an appache, or a M1 Abrams less than 500 feet away. |

| I think blackwater and similar contractors are the best thing to happen to the military profession in a long time. The entire reason I joined the Army was to start building a resume so I can hired by people like them. Finally there's an alternative to direct government employment for people who want to be soldiers, which is great because from my short experience in the Army (a bit over 4 months in and finished IET) so far new Privates are treated like shit and you lose a lot of freedom. |
