Footage of the Disneyland/DCA electrical parade was shot on May 28th, 2006. To achieve the best sound quality, I used the original soundtrack (with a slight modification to reflect the fact that the parade is no longer shown on Main Street). Enjoy!

God this music gives me major shivers whenever I hear it... In a good way of course... I remember being 6 and seeing this parade, I was completely starstruck by all the huge colorful floats... Remember it vividly... I wish I was a kid again...

For nine minutes and twelve seconds I was a nine year old boy transported back to 1979, staring in awe at what was rolling past me on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. That was wonderful!

do they have this parade anymore at disney world its a true classic. I'm a body builder and I shave my arms and the arm hairs I don't have stood straight up and felt like they were growing back when I heard this music playing

Flowjo, I bought the song at a gift shop in Tomorrowland some 20 years ago. It doesn't have the synthesized vocal introduction, so I'd rather keep playing this vid when the mood strikes.

When you see this parade in person, it is BEYOND amazing. Almost unrealistic... Disney has the tendancy to do that, though. X3 I hope to see this parade again soon with my own eyes!

This parade rates a perfect 10! It's just so magical and exciting to watch! My first time seeing the Electrical Parade was in the Magic Kingdom (yes) back in the mid-70's and I never forgot the organ-master lion. this parade is a true Disney CLASSIC.
Also, check out Perrey and Kingsley's "Baroque Hoedown" - Disney used this moog composition as the parade's theme melody.
