| Sorry, not metal. While The Sword is decent band, but I just want to roll my eyes when I hear fans tell me how "heavy" they are. I listen to The Sword when I'm not in the mood for heavy music, lol. Even Rage Against The Machine, not a metal band, just hard rock, has "heavier" grooves when they feel like it. Look up Origin and tell me who is "metal". Overrated (but I still have their cd). |

| 'This is the rawest, heaviest, most non-commercial sound I've heard since Kill'em All came out over 20 years ago!' Do you even listen to music? I really like The Sword but in terms of this kind of metal (the argue rages on if you can even call it stoner etc) I thought this was really over produced and lost some of the impact. Compare it to Electric Wizard, Pagan Altar, Kyuss, Sloth and then you'll find the real 'non-commercial' sound. |

| I listen to music all of the time. Do you? Just because it does not sound like it was recorded under a pillow doesn't mean it is a commercial recording or it is not "heavy". If you listen to Kill'em All the first thing you notice is the biting,driving riffs, hence my comparison. It is my opinion. I did not criticize any other band because I am a huge fan of all types of heavy music. I think that they put a lot of thought into their arrangements and they have a huge sound which is awesome. |
