2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R v Yamaha R1

Video Description:
Check out the first monster battle of 2008. In this video we pitch the new Kawasaki ZX-10R against the Yamaha R1 - our superbike of choice for 2007. The ZX-10R has already ripped up the rule book by producing a staggering 170bhp - 8bhp more than the R1. It also flew down our test track at a genuine 184mph, in the wet! But for this test we take both bikes to Brands Hatch and put them through their paces, to find out if all this is enough for the Kawasaki to knock the Yamaha off its perch. 04-06 lava red R1 is the most beautiful bike so far. I know the honda's performance may slightly better than the R1, but why they always make the machines ugly? look the face of 08 cbr1000rr, it looks stupid! I have to wait until honda produce some beautiful bikes then try it.

600's are enough for any average Joe. I have a ZX636 and its enough. Enough for me to wipe out on it (its in the process of being rebuilt)But com'on. 1000cc and not even 30 pounds of difference, Sounds like a formula for suicide.

Only reason i bought the 08 cbr1000 over the 08 zx10 was looks and feel...I just felt comfier on teh Honda and liked the looks better. I raced 2 zx10's and we were neck and neck..so reality I think everyone should buy the one they feel best on..if ur gonan rid eont eh street they are all good enough. Sadly my cbr was stolen a month ago..bummer

everyones gonna feel comfortable on the honda its the generic sportbike...its for monkeys who never been on a sportbike cuz they can get on em and eide but the kawasukis have really strong engines this year and so do the sukzukis the yummihas have stayed similar since o4 i no i have an 06 r1 and an 07 gixxer1000 my gixxer is wayy faster than my r1 its just my r1 is soo much better looking and i think most people agree plus yamahas gonna do something big for 09...wait and watch

quit insulting honda and its riders, you calling dani pedrosa a monkey? well I like kawasakis more but i also love hondas and every honda engine made will LAST FOREVER so the yama kawa and suz may be faster or better at times but they wont last as long.
