i know you don't mean any offense by your comment but it does come across as kind of racist, albeit in an inverted way. There are/were tons of great white, asian, hispanic etc. musicians in jazz, although yes it has been dominated by black people and is rooted in black culture. Culture is the main thing to emphasize, as I absolutely do not believe it to be a genetic thing: rhythm, syncopation, improvisation are major features of african music which was transferred to black american culture.
