Actually "American Idiot" was an amazing album. All of their albums are amazing. They are never going to repeat "Dookie" again, they have always experimented with their albums. I listened to Green Day all my life, my first Green Day concert was back in 2000 in Tinley Park Illinois. That was the last time Green Day was Green Day to me. In 2004 they changed themselves for new fans they said. thats called selling out. now they sound like any other band nimrod or any other Green Day album could kill American Idiot any day

yeah I know what your talking about, they were criticised in 94 they went to a major record lable after1,039 and kerplunk. American idiot wasn't a total failure, it may not have been as good as they're old albums, and it was a different style sort of, but it had some good songs. Like Boulevard of Broken Dreams and stuff, although oldschool Green Day kicks new Green Days ass, its still good. "She" is my girl's favorite song :) I think its awesome too

My band and I use to play this song like this with the freakout at the start of the song..half the people would think he was on speed (Which he was not)and the other half loved it. The scream and Billie's signature rocking out at 2:07 is wicked. If anyone ever gets a chance to go see Green Day do it! They put on a fucking wicked show. Best time of my life
