Artists need to eat! Do you think any of the underground artists like MF DOOM, MADLIB and DR OCTAGON are getting rich, driving around in BENTLEYS and wearing FURS and PLATINUM and crazy stuff like that? Support the underground! These dudes live a regular life, just like the rest of us. That was a really WACK comment. If you had somebody sucking the gas outa your car everynight, you'd want to kill the guy, but you think THE ARTISTS property, namely: HIS MUSIC should not be protected by THE LAW?!!

Don't be melodramatic. It is unlikely the musicians that complain about fraud are worried about putting food on their tables. More likely, they have millions of dollars and just want another million. The rest of us don't make money from making music so I don't see how anyone would depend on it for food. It may be protected by law but that doesn't make it everyone's problem when a millionaire musician doesn't make the extra 2 bucks. They can complain for themselves.

First of all, understand that property is PROPERTY. It doesnt matter if its a car, a painting or a music recording. It belongs to the creator to decide what to do with it,not the mindless Consumatrons armed with their Idiot-Pods, who want a little sound to block out the terrible echo that bounces around in their heads. J-DILLA, MF DOOM, DR OCTAGON have not to my knowledge, ever had a hit album on the level of 50 CENT, DRE, OR EMINEM. Those underground guys are definetly not ballin' outa control!

It might be from an album that kool keith did not support and it does differ from his style but I still enjoy this track, I'd obviously like to hear what kool keith would have done with it but even knowing this album was 'fake' this track is still dope.

First of all, I was refering 2 RECORD sales, not the level of talent, artistry, or craft...This whole thing started as this: support underground artist...theyre not "Ballin' otta control"...
Respect true artists by buying the art, instead of bootlegs, which is what this cd is...read "bboymonkeyflips" comment...its true...I was gonna buy it a coupla months ago, til the record store guy/who happens to be a DJ, told me this ish was a bootleg...

Dumb comment..Kool Keith went into the studio to make this album,and eventually SELL it, but he got ripped off..He didnt want this bootleg CD 2 B released in its present form...hes N th' process of suing the Studio owners that put this 'ish on th' streets...

I know the background of the Kool Keith and the CD, I guess I miss interpreted your comment about record sales. I understand that Keith got fucked over. And I am friends with talented emcees that are at various stages in their careers and success, so I have an understanding what some of the common motivations are and that they need money to put food on the table.
