Man what a great artist Marvin Gaye is. but what is happening today? It's just gotten worse. Ignorance is growing, and knowledge and understanding is dieing out. Let's take it up on ourselves those who understand the problems of today, yesterday, tomorrow, to teach the youth about the truth of Love and Patience and understanding, with our actions. Marvin was ahead of his time. He died too early before his prime. He was an inspiration to us all. He had defined a generation with openness and goodness with a clear understanding of Black culture and relations in this country. Truly a magnificent human being and a wonderful artist that he was. Multi-talented and a musical genious. His music is timeless and forever captured in this mst excellent video for all to share.

Wow, why don't they release this DVD of the SAVE THE CHILDREN concert film, I've been looking for years. Some of the greatest talent was assembled, inspired by the greatest album of all time WHAT'S GOIN ON. Marvin was more than just a singer, he was a rare Prophet of Love, sent to us from above. Note how the audience listens to him, they knew it then and we know it know thanks to this clip. Thanks

Marvin's classic is truly timeless. While written by Gaye during the end of the Vietnam conflict in 1971, 'What's Going On ?' is STILL one of the most relavent songs in history. 37 years later, we continue to deal with so many of the same problems that Gaye sang about in the song. That's mind blowing to say the least! 5 STARS!! *****
