Do not think God as the handsome guy who appears on the movies, God is the natural force responsible for the air that you breathe, the eyes that you use to read this, even the force that makes the infinite universe holds and runs, and this force by definition must be good and perfect, so if you act in line with this, life will be great for you, for me thats the secret.

This is totally crap analogies. A truly 2-dimension universe could never possibly exist because a material point must have width, height and length to exist. If you say something has no height, then it can have width and length also, and hence it can't exist. Even more nonsense is a 3-d being trying to interact with an imaginable 2-D being.

Not in our universe ... ( 4 days ago by clerlic)
Not in our universe with our laws it couldn't, but we can always imagine or even simulate a 2D universe, for example, most older video games were essentially 2D.
Also, since we live in a 4D universe, 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time, a being traveling in time would ultimately be a 4D-entity. Certain assumptions must be made for that to hold, though, but it's far from "nonsense" or "crap".

I think of God as a product of human imagination, I don't mind people believing in God or whatever, but I do mind people doing horribly irrational things over their faith which even they don't fully understand.

I may have been rude, I agree. But look: your thoughts are a flows of energy in your brain. Every "pack" of energy has 3 spatial dimensions, therefore even your "imagination" can't truly be 2D. There is no sense to say that video games were 2D also, because every photon that reaches the screen TV or computer to form a picture is a 3D thing.
Also, I prefer to say that we live in a 3+1D Universe, to make clear the distinction between spatial and time dimension.
The process of my ... ( 4 days ago by clerlic)
The process of my thoughts is irrelevant, but yes, my imagination would work best in 3D, because it is confined to that. But I can perfectly imagine a 2- or 1-dimensional world, not to mention that we really see our world as 2-dimensional pictures. Yes, TV screen has a 3rd dimension, but the picture on it is a simulated 2-D projection. Also, we could have a long conversation involving quantum physics, which differ drastically from the world we perceive, but that wouldn't probably give an answer.
I bet you can't ... ( 4 days ago by epleite1000)
I bet you can't even imagine an actual 2-D world. Start picturing an image of a cube made, of course, of something material (not one that is only mathematically defined). Start imagining it reducing its height. Keep reducing it at very narrow steps. Once you get very very close to a square, you still have more physical height to reduce, even if it is incredibly small. You can never reduce this physical cube to height zero because that would reduce its length and width to zero too.
Also, the projected ... ( 4 days ago by epleite1000)
Also, the projected picture is not 2-D, because pixels on a screem are not 2-D. They are 3-D. The global picture may seem to be 2-D to our eyes, but that is only because we can't visually check its 3th dimension.
That is, if the ... ( 4 days ago by clerlic)
That is, if the imagined object is made of atoms, but if I imagine it to be a "cutout" of a flat plane, just like a drawing on a paper, it would have no height, only imaginary borders.
Yes the picture on the screen is 3D, but the computer thinks it's 2D, and the person perceives it as 2D. We can easily confine 3D objects to 2 axes, therefore simulating a 2D-world.
A true 2D-world is ... ( 4 days ago by clerlic)
A true 2D-world is impossible with newtonian physics, quantum mechanics is less restrictive, as you can have 2-dimensional gas-like entities confined in certain shapes.

Assuming we are talking about a material cube, not just a mathematical defined one, then yes, it is all gone.
The drawing is made ... ( 2 days ago by epleite1000)
The drawing is made of grafite or ilk, or whatever. All this are made of atoms, hence they are 3-D, hence the 2 axes are 3-D things. Whatever you try, you can't scape the fact that it is impossible to TRULY cut a spatial dimension off.

No, time is a new dimension. You can feel it in each dimesion, but the fourth dimension is the time.
