Man what a surprise it was to see Wes Montgomery..I love it!. he looked so happy to be there,making that good Pop Music money,takin care of his family.He would be dead within a year. It's just good to see this talented guitarist in living color,Love Burt,but they needed more Wes here.thanks for posting.

I love watching Burt sing his own songs, you realise when watching him just how passionate he is. Burt never just wrote his songs like a job, knocking-off pop hits like a factory, he really wrote them with utter feeling and sophistication.

The first time I saw this clip, I fell off the chair at 3:46..."I can't hardly wait to hold you" What a poignant moment on the clip! Mr Burt Bacharach is my favourite composer of all time! What a gem to see the Master sing his own songs!

Stumbling onto this video, I feel like I arrived at Mecca. I always loved Burt's music, and especially loved it when he sang it himself. Burt, put out a record of you singing your own compositions. I know it exists, because I remember it from my parent's record collection. A lot of people would groove on it. You don't have the voice, but, like Fred Astaire, you've got the soul. This is music that needs to be heard.

It's great to see all these artists, but after Bacharach's singing (which is painful at best--great composer--one of the best of all time, but he shouldn't be singing as many songs as he does here) the rest is pretty much ALL pre-recorded stuff straight from the studio recordings (with maybe only Liza Minelli's voice the only real thing--maybe, not sure)...too bad.

Wow ! Wes Montgomery about a year before he died. One of the greatest Jazz guitarists. Always liked Burt's songs, just not his singing. LOL
