Anyway I did more research. Both songs use the same samples. This is commonplace in rap. The one Crooked raps over in this video is CLEARLY Proof's version, though.

The market is just way smaller than it was ten years ago. What is even more sad is, that people are mistaken 50 Cent/ Lil Wayne bullcrap for real Hip Hop. But as long as some people remember good rap like Nas, Cali Agents, Afu-Ra, Jedi Mind, CunninLynguists, The Roots, Kalib Tweli, Mos Def, Tribe Called Quest, Warcloud etc. etc. there will always be a small underground movement that keeps hip hop alive. Hopefully.
