the best FF song ever. the best game too. my taste. might be different with other's taste. haha. great story. didn't really like FF8, 10 and the rest. FF7 Advent children is great too. But Melodies of Life still my fave.

Unfortunately I'd have to disagree with you. The story line in FF7 is far superior to that of FF9, it is also the reason many fans are screaming for a remake for the PS3. But that is the fun of the Internet. They are both great games, I just believe one is better then the other. Such as you believe FF9 is better then FF7, Im pretty sure no matter what I say would convience you otherwise. Same as you saying FF9 is better then FF7, you cant convience me otherwise. Other then that both good games

FF9 had some good ideas but the story line was a bit .... shifty i guess i mean kuja looked like a girl. The songs where okay i mainly loved garnets themes and this song.
FF7 was good becuase it had a nice storyline, it had Reno in it :D and later on we go crisis core and advent children and some mobile game and something esle i can remember. So as much as i like both FF7 is more popular and more demanded

well uhmm...
ff7 is memorable coz its the 1st success of ff serries 3D graphics thats why dey creat versions of it. well actually ff6 got 3D i gez wen u ride chocobo=^_^=. ff9 is wonderful kuja looks like a girl coz his gay but all in all ff9 has wondrous adventures and i like bahamoth in ff9 definitely better than ff7's =^_^=.

VIII has a GREAT story line but the battle system is something ... bleh . You can't feel free to use ur MAGIC . But the summons and limit break are awesome.
I swear to my Buddha that I still didn't get why they created X-2 . It was a waste , just TRUE fans of FF series would like it .
btw , FF X is the best for me :). Has nice battle system , freaking cool limit break ...

Just the characters of the game I felt were more well developed and alot more believable as people. I remember my first time playing it and the scene where Aeris died, I wasnt expecting it, and I found myself caring for the characters, if a game can do that to that extent that it did..... I just found it superb. But that is just one of many plots in the game. I also found the story relates more to the world at the time then FF9 did, which meant I could relate back to alot of things.

each ff games have their ups and downs. Honestly the downside of this game is the character design (don't hate) and storyline. Zidane is my least favorite male character by far and the story it just ridiculously dull. I must admit the game environment and grapic wasn't at best but it was a better version of FF7 IMO. In the end, if you are a TRUE RPG FAN, you would know FF9 isn't the best FF/RPG game out there. Ppl got hooked up by FF9 probably more because of the story and character but not me:)

to answer some of your questions, there is no BEST FF GAME. FF7 isn't more superior to FF9 lol...You guys want to know why everyone got hooked by Ff7 more than any other FF? It was the first FF game out that showed good CG graphic and with better looking character and enemy design. Who doesn't like Cloud and Sephiroth honestly? Seph is probably the BEST looking male antagonist character in all FF and Cloud was the first coolest...or hottest male character out during that time. So ya thats why

My god, mate Im not going to argue with you, as it appears thats all you are fishing for is an argument. The characters in FF7 were more believable then those of FF9 and were more developed. In regards how it related to the world at the time. Mako energy relating to Oil, how we are using up the planets resources. And if you read below I said "In my Opinion"
