short clip just to show a quick visual difference between the FX4400 and a 7300GT. The two cars have a very high polygon count (download them at google warehouse and see for yourself) and well... the quadro is amazingly responsive and smooth!

Have you guys seen the Quadro FX 5600? It costs like, $3000, it came out a while ago, and it's still way ahead of the consumer market. Pixar and them probably use something similar to it.

Quadro is for 3D Graphic design(expert level)and its real time renderer espicially in the Viewport in graphic programs like 3DMAX and MAYA,& its full supported with this programs and work with D3D and OpenGL.
while GeForce is for Games and its driver is not supported with all graphic design progams ( and do not support D3D ( direct 3D) maybe the last series yes!

The comparison is irrelevant. Quadro FX4400 uses a NV45 core, much more powerful than the entry line G73 on the 7300 GT. That, besides the fact that the 512MB frame buffer is probably what makes the Quadro run better.

lol no idea.. i recon the quadro would still beat it. I'm using a quad core mac pro now with an ati 1900xt. Its not as good as the quadro for 3D apps like Cinema 4D, but for games the 1900xt is better. :P

I have, I used a FX3700. It was excellent at creating and editing but when I tried to play Crysis it failed miserabley on medium, only ~12FPS.

Ok,Quadros still suck compared to main stream cards. 8800GTS 512MB can be soft modded into a FX-3700.

Look up spec sheets you @**. 5600 is OK but compared to MAINSTREAM GRAPHICS CARDS THE PRICE TO PERFORMANCE IS SUCKY!
