it was deemed accident, happened in Allanburg, Ont, 5 minutes outside of Niagara Falls Ontario. Windoc sets sail in 6 months, cost over 10 million dollars to repair, bridge now automatic. operator not drunk, had 2 glasses of wine and took heart meds, passed out but it should have been his day off. how do i know??? I live in Allanburg :) search WINDOC in google, check the site!

hey gozer..the Windoc was in Port Colborne until about a week ago and it didn't look like it was anywhere near ready to sail again..and she's been here for about 3 years before it left..i was going to get some video of her before it left but I dont have a cam

yes it was in PC but last month on the front of the st. catharines standard they showed a pic of a tugboat towing it to the drydock to complete repairs. i personally don't believe they can do it but the standard quoted the dry docks as saying it would be ready to sail in 6 months. how they expect to do it, i don't know!!! good luck to them!! I can't even completely clean my house in 6 months! lol
