"The only band i never get sick of." Funny you say that, Fifty. I have listened to AA almost every day for over 10 years and never get tired of listening to their work. I much prefer the older music written and/or performed by Nick Webb to the newer AA, though I like the new AA also. I think the only other "artist" I can say I never tire of listening to is Bach! What a shame the world lost Nick so young.

Not that it isn't all good, but Lazeez (@ 4:20) is just such a complex and intellectually stimulating song with so many layers of sound to try to absorb, it's simply mind bending! Ditto Casino, Reference Point & Same Road, Same Reason as well. These songs, & AA in general, are such a great gift. If you are reading this aren't familiar with their work but likes great guitar and TERRIFIC song-writing, you owe it to yourself to buy this album and get to know AA! RIP Nick. You are sorely missed.

I discovered AA in the mid 90's when someone gave me the Back on the Case cd. When I heard "The Alchemist", that was all it took. My all time favorite AA song, closely followed by Catalina Kiss (with Miles). I would love to see a video of them playing the Alchemist but not sure if it's available anywhere. These guys are absolutely brilliant. Fortunately, I'm going to see them play live this summer in Boston. I can't wait!

Wow! It's absolutely wonderful to see Nick Webb (R.I.P.), and to watch and hear him play Lazeez, one of my all-time faves by AA. This is an excellent vid, and it really makes me wish I could have seen Webb and Carmichael and company in concert in person. The guitar work is truly brilliant, and backed up with some beautiful strings. Any chance we could see just the performance of Lazeez? In any case, thanks for sharing this!
