Charles Latshaw conducts Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" mvt1

Video Description:
Suite #2. Movement 1 - "Montagues and Capulets"
The first time I ever heard an orchestra play, I was in high school. The Russian National Orchestra came to my hometown (Toledo, Ohio) on tour. My mother and I bought tickets last minute and went and sat in the front row. The first thing they played was Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. From the
very first note, I was completely hooked. I had tears on my face and tingles in my feet. I knew that this was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Please enjoy the performance. I hope you'll be hooked forever, too. -Charles

And I loved your smirk just before you began the "best part", aha.
You are very animated, you must love your job!
For anyone else who likes muse maybe, but wasn't lucky enough to get to Wembley Stadium last year, they entered to this piece, from a giant podium in the centre of the crowd and walked down a walkway through the standing audience. Incredible. This piece still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Absolutely fantastic! :D :D :D :D
