This is NOT Jim Gordon. It wouldn't feel so sluggish if he was playing it. He was on the studio version and all the tunes from "Low Spark" for that matter. It's either Roger Hawkins or Jim Capaldi.

God, what cool music. Amazing what a great jazz piano soloists Winwood is. Cool drumming and percussion. This is quintessential 70's elcectic hip rock. Smart music.

There is a great performance of the song, "40,000 Headmen" preserved from the late '60s (a few years before this one) - it might be from the British TV show, "The Old Grey Whistle Test". Winwood plays and sings intensely and well. It is a wonderful song to listen to anyway.

Traffic's best song. The live version in On The Road is fantastic. They really show their ability in improvising. Chris Wood is also the most original sax player of the period. this is only my opinion of course.
