A friend of mine recommended this song, and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm just glad I listened to some of their other stuff before I bought the album.

what? you're kidding right? type in "Corey Taylor" in the search bar and listen to some of his Stone Sour performances and you will see for yourself that, yes, his voice DOES in fact sound like this when he sings slow songs live, acoustic. When he performs with Slipknot he uses his "screaming" voice if you will, which, of course, sounds nothing like this. But yes, the man CAN sing like this. he is a great vocalist.

Well, first, because you're not listening to it. If your attention is elsewhere, or you're too scared to handle it...well, you aren't gonna hear words. It's pretty easy to make out what they're saying. Also, because Slipknot is first and foremost a metal band. Simple as that. Speed, hate, screaming, thrashing, etc.

A lot of singers don't sound the way they talk when they sing >.> obviously he changes his voice when he sings.But that doesn't mean he can't sing like this.Also I think this is the best way the lyrics to this song could have been sung because of what they say. Sincerely, Wizz Wizz.

Seriously though, <3 Slipknot, although their new style of "soft" shit is a bit disappointing. The songs that stay true to their genre on the new album is great. All the same, I love this song, so let me contradict myself for a moment. :)
