this was more entertaining than any of alex's shows or movies. he takes himself way too serious sometimes he's fighting for peace and freedom but challenges a guy to a fight. Perfect display of human nature and duality you can remove all the new world order or illuminati people and they would only be replaced with another secret society eventually bent on world domination instead of moloch they'll probably worship a giant dick or something. I am aware of this, I was speaking to the misguided left that has swallowed his snake oil since 9/11. The popular image of "waking up" - yet another example of the religious ferocity of the CT set. "I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see." When waking up refers to an exchange one set of distortions for another, it is not waking up at all. While much of what Jones speaks of is important, his simultaneously fanciful and simplistic interpretations should be rejected.

Jones did run as a Republican himself and has stated in interview that he considers himself a paleoconservative, which is one of the most vile, retrograde and antiquarian political schools in America. He is opposed to the Mil. Indust. Complex but supports gun rights (and indirectly the gun manufacturers who are a part of the global MIC), he pushes the myth of the founding fathers being on the side of the people (they were not, no more than Bush and Clinton are), he allows for MUCH leniency..

His entire political philosophy is rooted in a return to the fictional utopia of nascent America circa the Founding Fathers. Jones is critical of imperial pretexts for invasion and annexation of other sovereign states but has he ever argued for land to be returned to Mexico or Cuba? When I say that Jones speaks of crucial facts but distorts and oversimplifies them you need look no further than this video for some excellent examples.

The U.S. (CIA) had ties to Saddam Hussein from the 1950s on and the US did tilt towards Iraq after their friend the Shah was overthrown in Iran and Iraq invaded, there is nothing to corroborate Jones' repeated claim that the US "invented" the Hussein boogie man for the purpose of eventually taking him down. Iraq is a nation of 30,000,000 people and it does have its own history and the US does not just "make" these men or even control their every move.

That characterization by Jones is a GROSS distortion of historical fact, as are most of his claims. It is apparently not enough to point out contradictions or omissions of fact (such as the fact that the Reagan government eagerly supported Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war during which time the "gas(sings of) his own people" referred to in anti-Hussein propaganda took place), Jones feels a need to infuse with hysteria to make it palatable for his apparently jaded audience.

Jones' world view is ridiculously Amerocentric. While the U.S. government is likely the most extreme example of imperialism in world history and the levels of manipulation and interference are unprecedented, the U.S. does NOT exert absolute control over all things and DOES sometimes have to play ball with the OTHER governments which have their OWN objectives and imperial designs.
