Ms. Leontyne Price is flawless in Tosca and all she has ever done!!! But I do enjoy Ms. Gheorghiu. As a matter of fact I just saw her performance last night at The Met's free concert in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Tenor Roberto Alagna...They were great!!! VIVA OPERA!!!

This role is perfect for her. That is all I have to say. A huge improvement from her attempt to play Violetta in La Traviata. She was a wonderful Mimi in La Boheme as well. But she plays an amazing Tosca. This is officially my favorite rendition.

Is the role perfect for her, cause she is the biggest prima donna/hysterical diva in Opera at the moment? And before everyone tells me off and starts telling me that she is the most beautiful wonderfully talented person in the world. 1. You haven't had to work with her 2. I never said she couldn't sing, she can, very well. That was bizarreI just had a whole argument with myself, lol
