I *think* its a Danelectro Longhorn bass. Do a search on Google images for it. A seriously cool looking bass, I remember first seeing GR on Top of the Pops in the early 70s and thinking "hey, neat bass..." Absolutely magic decade the 70s. The richest seam of popular music ever, IMO. GR were one of hundreds of brilliant bands around at the time. So glad to have been able to appreciate it first hand then, and to appreciate it second time around, courtesy of YouTube!
