Actually your interpretation is completely wrong. The movie's title never meant to be genes. Common no one is that stupid to make such a mistake???
In fact by Jeans, the producer meant to shed light to the idea of twin, just like the back pockets of a pair of Jeans. The actors are twins in the movie, that's where comes the idea.
