| I saw this the last time I was in Vienna. I had heard this opera only once before, and I must admit it doesn't really say much to me. It was a well deserved triumph though! I really like Moser's voice, Gatti was amazing and the choir nothing less than flawless. I loved the golden calf scene! A very good show indeed, thanks for sharing. |

| it might take years (!) for a choire fo rehearse it adequate. There is no ratio between effort and effect.But my favorite Moses is John Tomlinson. When he sings, I always think the end of the world is near.. |

| Thank you very much for posting. The only version I have listened to is Gielen's recording for Phillips in 1974, Schoenberg's centennary. Beautiful. |
