Well, it's Norwegian (the language spoken in Norway) and is a Germanic language. It's supposed to be pretty easy to learn. Maybe you should try to find some audio lessons or something... I can't answer your main question though. Spanish sounds just as fast to me.

hehehe yes you're right (: spanish is quite fast, at least we argentineans speak waaaay faster than most latin countries. But still pronunciation is different, I'm lucky to have this incredible easiness to learn foreign languages (with a few exceptions of course). Too bad there are not norwegian schools here :( , you can find even chinese and quechua
