they arent nu-metal. nu-metal was formed from bands that basically copied their unique sound. Even Jonhathon Davis says that they are they arent a recognized genre, they are just KoRN.

I think they have changed a lot their style and that's not bad but there's still a little nu metal, but the invented it, their next album is gonna be produced by Ross Robinson (the godfather of nu metal) and I think they will return to their nu metal roots.
