This song always inspires me and I try to watch and listen to this video as often as I can. Do you think she got the name Jennifer because Jennifer Jones played Bernadette in the movie? It is indeed a coincidence as before my first child was born we were going to call it Bernadette but were persuaded not too as it was considered too Catholic a name in this protestant dominated part of the world - so we decided on Jennifer after Jennifer Jones. He turned out to be a boy though!

I saw this preformance on the Smother's Brothers show so long ago we didn't have a VCR yet! How fun to see it again!!
At the time, we already loved Leonard Cohen and while her album Famous Blue Raincoat at first struck us as odd renditions of his songs, it really grew to be a favorite; even used it to calm our colic troubled baby in 1987!

It was for you, sorry I got the wrong impression, a little sensitive I guess(wouldnt hear of having Jennifer undermined). I dont think she is visually impaired but I could be wrong. Happy listening!!!!
