| abusing people for the sake of showmanship/entertainment is bit weird. I like Ramsay but there has to be a line somewhere. He creates ALL of the stress and chaos in the kitchen. He may be a good chef but he is a terrible leader with virtually no people skills. A true low life that somehow became famous. Yes it's entertaining television but at the end of the day Ramsay needs a good kick in the pants. |

| Gordon Ramsay is, arguably, a massive, pulsating cock, but the food that leaves his kitchen is the very embodiment of his great reputation as a world class chef. Although his methods are questionable, you know that his staff will increase their efforts by doing so. It will inevitably make them into better chefs. |

"Any rich jackasses can own stuff", you're right, but they won't stay consistently successful. Ramsay's reputation is built upon his goal of culinary perfection. Remember, he started off with owning AND RUNNING just 1 restaurant. The guy knows how to run a business and his food is simply, delicious. |

One can not simply buy reputation and/or respect - you earn it. His first few restaurants he owned and RAN it himself. The rest of his restaurants are the merits of his achievements. ps.
