Originally shown as a promotional demo at San Diego Comic Con, this "intro" is on the Optimus Prime/Megatron Battle Pack DVD release. It features the original minute long intro that was scrapped in favor of a 30 second one.

Let me clear my mind, ppl. I think that all those who like G1 more are saying that this remake sucks BECAUSE it has very different character styling and animation, and they're kinda afraid of it. Oh COME ON PEOPLE, I don't know if ya realize it, but there's more than 20 years between these two series. Animation and people can change in 20 years, you know. I myself like and appreciate both series, they have their own ways being cool.

I like it but I heard that Sari was in the longer one. That she was seen riding a bike and then used her key to turn it into a jet pack. Though this intro rocks ^_^

I'll admit, I didn't like TF Animated at first, but then, it just started to grow on me. I've already started collecting the toys, with Lockdown being my latest. I'm currently working on getting Blackarachnia next :)

Why are people arguing about which version of transformers is the best? The bottom line is this... This theme song kicks ass! Also, while I'm not a huge fan of this series it is the best one since TF:RID and perhaps my third favorite after G1 and Beast Wars.

I just added two new TFs to my collection, Sentinel Prime and Blitzwing. I thought I'd get Sentinel Prime since I already have Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime and Blackarachnia. Blitzwing is one kooky Decepticon, and I mean that in a good way. I like the guy :)

I agree. Animation has evolved over the years. I too liked the original G1 cartoon, but all the later shows were just fantastic, with TF SuperLink/ Energon and Galaxy Force/ Cybertron being my personal favorites. As it turns out, TF Animated is actually quite nice. I like it too.
