It has to be next to impossible to get those full step bends on an acoustic guitar. So, I'm assuming these lessons are for electric guitar exclusively?

im doing all the blues on acoustic its not as good sounding as the electric and my fingers hurt like hell. but i havent bought a electric yet i was told its better learning on acoustic. then it should come easier on electric. is there any truth in this ?

i started on the acoustic for blues and it's really a godsend on the electric later. just that you can't really bend that much for acoustic so instead of bending i'll just play that note

im using 11 they say that to go to 9 i will to change the calibration of my guitar. if a use 9 how will that affect my tone, i have epiphone LP

To be honest, I'm not too sure. Try 10's, or if you choose 9's you might have to tighten your truss rod. But I always change strings and the only difference is the tightness of the strings.
