RARE VIDEO CLIP OF THE GERMAN GROUP, ALPHAVILLE, WHO ENTERED WITH SEVERAL HITS IN 1984 IN THE CHARTS IN EUROPE. HOWEVER THIS SEEMS A LIVE SESSION, ALPHAVILLE PLAYED NEVER LIVE BEFORE THE LATE 90'S. AFTER THEIR SUDDEN RISE IN 1984 WITH THEIR GREAT POPALBUM, FOREVER YOUNG, THEY DISAPPEARED FROM THE HITLISTS IN EUROPE AND NEVER RETURNED. IT'S STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE GROUPS OF THE 80'S.

even though it's lip-synced, they're still my fav band. Alphaville was just a studio band, so they couldn't come close to performing live. the technology wasn't that great back then, programming synthesizers was hard work with analog equipment. everyone should just give em a break. They were genius' after all.

First, i love also this song. But i have a question. You mentioned programming of synthesizers. Is it really so big difference between production of Depeche Mode and Alphaville? Both used synthesizers etc.
