You should research nuclear power before you say stuff like that, its our only option. Yeah im also for "cleaner" sources of energy like wind, solar and hydroelectric power, but just try powering the city of new york with those types of power, yeah right keep dreaming. Besides, nuclear power isnt that dirty, carefully managed, its a great alternative. P.s. just because i am pro nuclear, doesnt mean i cant enjoy this great song.

Nuclear Power is OK. huh? It directly and indirectly supports nuclear bombs, are those OK too. Nuclear waste is some nasty stuff too! Radiation will kill in large amounts if enough is present like in a nuclear power plant, and the threat of a meltdown is only one, think a little more long term and look at war a natural disasters. So much energy must be carefully controlled, disruptions in that balance no matter how small of a % is not worth any benefits it brings. Its insanity, a ticking bomb.

You are clearly extremely ignorant on the subject, the only meltdown in history took place in Chernobyl and it happened because of communist bureaucracy and extreme pressure caused by the cold war, where the reactors where taken to extremes. Nuclear waste is quite easily to manage, and there is evidently no more nuclear threat in wars. Besides, modern bombs are hydrogen based, not uranium or plutonium, so nuclear power isn't fomenting nukes anymore. All current wars would end if we all took up

nuclear power, since there would be no more tensions caused by fossil fuels. Nuclear energy is quite clean when managed properly, its the only type of energy which will suit human needs in the future. Open your minds people, its our only alternative, and you better get used to it, since all governments have already began to invest. I respect all opinions, but i bid you to do research before you argue, otherwise you are incapable of truly judging whats best.
