this video was uploaded on july 2, a few hours after the news, when everyone thought it was a remake and no one knew it was only a enhanced port, my hype now is at 0, because only 1 new dungeon and wireless connection ( that i'll never use because all the guys that i know who have a DS live far from where i live ) can't be enought, at( $ )quare enix people are lazy!
ATTN EVERYONE! It's NOT a remake. It is an ENHANCED PORT with 1 extra dungeon and Wireless play. Chrono Trigger ( クロノ・トリガー, Kurono Torigā ) is a console role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game
console. It was released on March 11, 1995 in Japan, and August 22, 1995 in North America. The game's story follows a group of young adventurers who travel through time to prevent a global catastrophe. Chrono Trigger was developed by a group that Square called the Dream Team, consisting of Hironobu

Akira Toriyama. He's done alot of art for Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, among others. He also made Dragonball and Dragonball Z. His art style is pretty unique, so it's pretty easy to pick out his works.

Nothing about this game fucking changed. They should've just named it Chrono Trigger Advanced and put it on the damn GBA. Regardless that I alot of Chrono Trigger fans are excited, I wont be, considering it's just a port. No graphical changes, maybe 1 new dungeon and better sound quality and that's just about it. So I don't think this game is worht getting on my part.

Chrono trigger, #2 i beleive on the most wanted Virtual console game poll nintendo did...So square enix puts it out for the ds instead of the VC. You really like to mess with us, dont you square. Never played it though, chronocross was a fantastic game so im looking forward to it!

actually the big N decides what to put up on the VC, companies like Square Enix only provide the ROM data. Chrono Trigger DS was already being prepared for the DS.

Final Fantasy I psp= Updated Gaphcs,Sound,and new dungeon Final Fantasy II psp=same as the FFI psp Final Fantasy III DS= 3d graphics,updated sound, almost compleaty reworked story. Final Fantasy IV DS=3d graphics,new sound,and some new other things Chono Trigger DS= Same thing as snes/psx ver

not really, CT doesn't need a reworking as much as those other games :) although it's a lazy cash in, I just hope they redo the sprites in higher res

I thought this was gonna be a remake, then saw the screens and was immediately disappointed. I will still buy it but man what a letdown. Wireless play=fail and anything less than 3 dungeons seems like nothing.

Stop Fucking bitching. The game was great regardless. Just because they don't make it prettier for you little girls doesn't mean dick. It doesn't need better graphics and whatnot. The game play is what counts. And square enix perfected it. Keep in mind that3 dungeons is still 3 dungeons more than the original had. The wireless play looks fine. All in all it's going to be a great game.

yea for ppl who hasnt played it yet i agree with you in some parts ebcause we made some strong points. id give this game 10 any day but 3 new levels isnt enough for me o by the same game over again. It probably would have been best for them to add ew graphics cause if you think about its basically the psx version and ppl with a modded psp or a R4 with there DS can just download the psx version. thats im saying they should add more new like graphics and new endings as well. but u made a gud pt

those complainin' about CT DS not being a remake, just an enhanced port should quit maoning! CT was pretty much perfect anyway,and even if square Enix did do a re-make, I bet people would just maon about it being too different to SNES version, anyway! Just be thankful that we're getting it at all, people!!

The only reason they are even porting Chrono Trigger is because of fan demand (meaning they know they will make money off of it). They don't have to update the graphics, because their only objective is to make money off of it. We have already received a port of this game once before, we do not need a second.
I vote this game stays in the vault until they are actually ready to make a real remake. It does not do Chrono Trigger justice to report like some has-been game.

Look at Final Fantasy IV DS and then come back to me. It only has 1 dungeon added. I am still gonna buy it I am just saying there is NO reason for anyone who played the original and beat it until they got tired of it to play it again and buy a 40 dollar port of a old game with an added dungeon
