Hillary may be ... ( 7 months ago by robertantonnyc)
Hillary may be willing to go and speak to anyone, but is she willing to fight for those same people against the special interest groups? Is she willing to go into churches and synagogues and speak about their treatment of gays in this country. Barack has done it. Is Clinton willing?
she's truly not ... ( 7 months ago by robertantonnyc)
she's truly not what she says she is. She may be working all the angles, but she's not authentic on her views. Or up front with them.

Totally agree. Obama is America's only hope at this point. Hillary will rally the Republican base AGAINST her and then we will ALL lose!

Tell me once again gender is not driving the election. Let's see, if my education serves me correctly, black men got the vote 50 years (1870)before women (1920). Does that me you guys want it to be 50 years after a black man gets the White House before they'll vote to send in a woman?
Yes, you are right. ... ( 7 months ago by pgthinker007)
Yes, you are right. The Clinton administration was very corrupted. He even pardoned most disgraceful people in American History. There is much more to say, but there is no enough room for that. For example, KLA was in terrorist list, and he took it out of the list. You should see.

Do you realize that if the Anti-Gay Marriage Amendment had passed in the Congress, it would have passed the states and become part of the United States Constitution? Hillary stopped that from happening.

Uh, vast right wing conspiracy? You do know she was talking about the Radical Anti-Gay Right, don't you? Obama criticizes her for fighting against the radical right.

The initials remark ... ( 7 months ago by underneaththeveneer)
The initials remark is funny but her thread is flawed. She says the Republicans have 'politicized the most intimate and private issues' but it is political. According to Michel Foucault (The History of Sexuality, Vol.1), sex is privately felt but socially mediated. Sex is political. When she goes on about healthcare and so forth, she is talking about political aims - etymologically political perhaps, that is within the bailiwick of a given group of people living together.
I think she also ... ( 7 months ago by underneaththeveneer)
I think she also needs to explain why she endorses gay civil unions but rejects marriages. Legally, i.e. within the jurisdiction of the government, marriages are civil contracts, not religious convenants. Separate but equal is not enough. Perhaps she only supports civil union as a way to secure it though - as if marriages would seem too steep a mountain to climb in face of homophobic and heteronormative matrixes.

Hillary has attended New York gay pride. Obama has yet to truely engage with the gay community. Very disappointing that she lost the nomination.

I miss her so much . To bad the DNC didnt have enough sence to pick the smartest cannidate for President . They let this woman slip right through their finger tips . All i can say is they will live to regret their selection . SAD VERY SAD. WE LOVE YOU HILLARY.

Why should that matter so much? There are so many economical problems going on, attending the Gay Pride isnt going to help the economy bounce back. Dont be so ignorant.

I'm really saddened by Hillary's defeat on the Democratic nomination for the presidency. It's a real shame. I also noticed that Hillary wore this same outfit at her primary victory speech in New Hampshire in January.
