because while private servers may not be the "real thing," it is still the ragnarok people grew to love when it wasn't p2p. private servers are there for the haggard community and camaraderie just as much as they are for the initial gameplay. private ro is still ragnarok, and that's why people play it. that's also why they choose private ro over the free mmo's you listed. just because they want to. and ro was never meant to be p2p, which is why the og creator split and started granado espada.
