The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh speaks about peace because he was so devastated by war and experienced first hand the death and destruction caused by human greed,anger,and ignorance. Being upset at him for his escape is like being angry at the survivors of the Titanic. If he stayed behind he would have been killed.

My moral values are justice, human values, honesty and sincerety, holistic objectivity and very much a holistic responsibility for the world at large, for everything in it. Even though I can see how selfishness can lead to perfect moral, I cannot accept the destroying of moral values from the road of short-sighted parasite like selfishness.

Share this with your freinds, it's so beautiful, share, share the love, share the truth the peace not a political talk about peace, it is just peace. I watched Charles Gibson babger Obama for going on a trip around the world, and my roommate heard him ask him a question about creating peace in the mid-east and my rm said it will never happend, not until Jesus comes back, so wrong I love Jesus but we create peace now with every step.

This is truly a very important lecture by Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh! His teachings can cleanse our minds of various negativities and karma if we practice those teachings properly. All humanity need to hear and learn from the venerable's teachings. It is time for humanity to wake up to the reality of violence, hatred, war, genocide, etc. May the Buddhas show us the way to peace and liberation!!!! Thanks for posting this video!!! Thich is a fundamentally dishonest man. He has some disgusting views that he knows would be very controversial, so he does not talk about them. When bad things happened to others, he sometimes preached about how it was their awful karma. When bad things happen to him, he claims that is someone else's fault. He mindfully tramples insects these days. He is a lying hypocrite. He is responsible for what happens to him, and he is responsible for what he does. That is no bodhisattva, that is a liar.

In the present time, one need not stand infront of ones adversaries to deliver a message, as history recorded, those actions often lead to civil unrest.
