fanboy? if you actually read what i said and even remotely knew anything about guitar then you'd understand that mustaine and chris broderick walk all over kirk hammet and james, they know and can play more scales etc, everyone of kirk's solos sound the same, unlike megadeth's.

Metallica are not good. how poor are so many songs- sad but true, etc-. They were an ambitious good band in their youth. Cannot compare them to Megadeth. What is really sad is that Metallica had once great songs like one etc and Kirk destroyed them totally with his childish playing culture. james is great by the way. In the end 3 albums were great. Now they play only shit. Metallica can be compared to Sepultura- Once very good declined to a third class band.

I won't deny that lately their songs have been a little "eh?", but that aside, they're both about even...There's no such thing as superiority, unless they actually have a judged battle, and continue to have battles. Honestly, this debate between Megadeth and Metallica is bullshit...They're both great bands. You can't judge songs by their band...You must judge them by how they play.

Ok for one... You should try playing some of the harder solos like the one in "Ride the lIghtning" and try playing ANY of Mustains, even Hangar 18... youll find out those Mustain solos are cake compared to any of Hammets harder solos. Hammets solos are far from the same your just an ignorant and havent listened to any of his best shit and or your just a closeminded "IThinkIKnowItAll". ... for the record I love Megadeth and think Mustain and Hammet are =... just making a point...
