| Netflix mistakenly sent me this instead of TROUBLE MAN and I'm glad they did. The MACK is a much better flick and Max Julien is better than Robert Hooks. I wonder how Max Julien would've fared in PULP FICTION because Tarantino ioffered him the Marcellus Wallace role. He turned it down. Guess he didn't want to meet Zed and The Gimp. |

| Someone made a comment that the etymology for Mack is mackeral. To be more precise. it comes from the French word for mackeral, which is maquereau (the English equivalent would be "broker".) So it doesn't necessarily refer to a woman's nether region--it actually suggests that the pimp literally acts as a "broker" in negotiation. This is the true etymology of the word. |
