| 440lbs with fuel. With a 200lb rider in gear. Consider gearing for a higher RPM motor... now work the difference out... not as large as you think, dude. Yes the litre bikes have more power and particularly more torque down low, but they're also geared to do over 100mph in first gear. It's not that simple. |

| 750 gsxrs are ok up to about 130mph then they start falling off.. they make great canyon bikes thow a lot more managable power than my zx10r. but at 130mph id still b in 3rd gear at around 10k rpm redline starts at 13 with full akropovic evolution pipe, power commander, velocity stacks,air filter, and ivans tre the revlimiter is set at 14k on mine... i still think the gsxr rider wasnt too great thow he should have still beat the car |

| 10r will destroy pretty much anything litre and under in a line.. they are top end monstas. A 750 will be very similar till around 200k when the 10r has stopped wheelieing, then it's all over rover. Eg.. drag strip, my mates gix750 got a better start in one race, about 10m ahead, last 150m or so I absolutely blew past, big speed difference. Race cams and other bits helped though d; |

| well yeah!! you do use the clutch to shift... else you will mess the gear box up still NICE ZX10 mine has 171hp to the wheel. they are wheelie perfect. mine ran 9.42 @151 in the 1/4 |

| Wrong. When racing do not use the clutch. Obviously you do not know how to ride. Works similar to the way an air shifter works. Clutchless upshift. |

| Then race them together, on anything but a really large track, the 750 will probably be faster, mostly because the "regular joe" rider can get more out of it. Like I said, I have owned three litre bikes (in fact, I own one now plus two 750s) and they really are not that much quicker until you are going 130mph+ Ask my friend with an 05 Repsol 1000RR, he can't pull any distance on me at all until we're doing nearly 150mph. |

| 170mph is pretty good, but you're right, the litre bikes really start to show their power over 130mph and accelerate hard all the way to about 170, where they start to gain a bit slower (still quickly, though). |

| I race in VRRA, and every upshift is clutchless. I use the clutch to feather the rear out on downshifts into corners. What you want to do is prime the shifter on upshifts, just load it a little bit with your boot, when you snap the throttle back, you click the next gear in. |

| The new one is damned impressive. We'll see what it does against the new Gixxer, the 05 and 07s had a pretty big acceleration advantage on the ZX. The 07 Gixxer is silly on top end, you should try one or try the new 10 which is supposedly putting out 170hp to the wheel. |

| Tried the K7 thou twice now, 52k and 450k on the clock respectively, felt a bit tame and not as fast as mine but you can never compare stock to modded, plus needed a bit more running in. It was fine otherwise! I'm waiting for the 08 ten..see how it is. Heard comments that its arse end sticks very well :) 200hp crank w/ram air paper figures I'd doubt though. |

| come on! the '06 and '07 zx10R are the ugliest model's ever made. the '04 and '05 are the best looking bikes, coupled with the fact they push out to over 160kmh in first gear, they are awesome track bikes (just need steering dampers). |
