In reply to Krithiam, you can scratch with belt drive turntables... but it is seriously not recommended. You will lose all torque very quickly, leaving you with useless decks in need of repair. Direct drive turntables are the way to go, and can be picked up for a fraction more than belt driven turntables, and will last you a lot longer.
