For the record, this a "best guess" for the Opryland setting based on limited park maps and a handful of photos. In reality, Timber Topper had your typical Arrow track and didn't sport an engine on the front of the train, ala Big Thunder Mountain. Enjoy!

Wasn't this one actually called Rockin Rollercoaster? It always had 50's music going in the loading area.

Yes. It went by both names, with Timber Topper being the first, then RnRC. Kinda like the whole Dulcimer Splash/Flume Zoom log ride thing.

Ahh sweet, I didn't know about the Timber Topper name. By the way, great job in recreating this ride, it was my favorite coaster!!!

Hey thanks! BTW, it's still around as Canyon Blaster at Great Escape in NY state. Granted, not the same setting, but at least it's still running.

Awesome! That one was my favorite, and I'm glad to know that it's still operating! Do you know if there are any videos of the coaster now? Is it the same as it was at Opryland? Also, do you know the whereabouts of Wabash Cannonball and Chaos? Thanks!!!

Probably there will be videos in time. The layout is the same, but the scenery/themeing is different. Sadly, Wabash and Chaos were scrapped, with the Wabash trains in storage at Walibi in Belgium. They were part of a Halloween display.

Excellent representation! You captured my most vivid memory in that the second lift looks as it will rise right in the path of the Skyway. Love it!

My favorite part of this ride was the downward corkscrew, and you captured it perfectly! It's refreshing to see that there's still Opryland fans out there.

Dangit, I rode this at Great Escape last year
didn't even know that it was formerly in Opryland (where I rode its mini counterpart about a zillion times in 1987).

I'd love to ride it in the coming years. How's it holding up? Have heard it's ok after the move, but a bit rough. Would love to know. - TheRapidsNerd

Yup. That's covered in the description. I used the alternate name to separate it from Rock N Roller Coaster staring Aerosmith in Florida and California. - TheRapidsNerd

Thank you! :) That truly is a miracle considering I've never ridden it and just worked from a handful of photos. - TheRapidsNerd

Very close. Not quite exact with the first lift and drop but very darn close. I was the coaster operator on this ride from 1986 to 1988. I remember how the balloon race game at the exit made me so dang nervous...everytime a balloon would pop I would jump...never quite got over it.

Yep, I missed the dip out of the station. Lol! Cool balloon story. Very cool to talk with another person from Opryland and thanks for the kind words. They mean a great deal. - TheRapidsNerd
