I find it hilarious that on most of these vids of Janis that people feel the need to sob about how sad Janis was ... from all first hand recollections from friends/band members/family all said she was a very funny, outspoken, intelligent lady who found joy out of what she did and never wanted it to end. She was lonely in the respect of not having a consistant man to love her and not having her foundation in her life on a regular basis.She wasn't a sad-sap like most of today would like to think.

She put everything she had into every performance...BTW, Rufus & Chaka Khan did a
scorching rendition of "Half Moon" in 1974 on their "Rufusized" album!!
