You're right about personal taste too, but I've yet to hear West perform any song in a way as special to me as DC Cooper, and I've heard all of those versions you listed. Hell, even Andre said that the next Royal Hunt album will be a sequel to "Paradox", and I don't think that has anything to do with a recurring concept.

Too bad DC Cooper didnt stick around, West and Boals are good but West sounds too much like hes try for a queensryche sound and Boals sounds too power metal-y for the style of music they play. Cooper sounds more unique to me
