QED is like saying "The outcome is logically decided and figured out, it is done/figured out uncontestably" in a philosophical or scientific discussion.

It must be odd not to see your own mouth. The movie was the biggest load of garbage ever but the TV show is excellent (besides Trillian)

ha ha. great book. bad conclusion. now, if you wanted a 'god point of view' on that, the bible does say god exists whether you believe in him or not. proof does not deny faith, it rather replaces it or strengthens it. douglas was funny, but I dont think he thought things through very well. at least not yet.

What a coincidence, ... ( 1 month ago by majorvoltage)
What a coincidence, the koran also says that a god exists. And the egyptian book of the dead says that many gods exist. Same with the hindu vedas. That's amazing, there must be a lot of gods out there. In a god fight who do you think would win?

well majorvoltage, that sparks a whole new argument on what religion is the true religion. its really tedious to discuss such things on youtube comments.

I've never understood why some people take this scene to be anti-religous, or why it was cut from the film version. If you actually watch/listen/read this scene it doesn't really say anything meaningful about religion or atheism at all, it's mainly a parody of philosophical and theological reasoning, of both theists and atheists. Adams was an atheist, but it is impossible to tell from this scene what he believed. I think he was just trying to write a witty comedy with philosophical undertones.
