Yes I am glad you said that it is better than American Pie because that is what I was thinking just before I saw your comment. Actually, I think this is surely one of the best songs ever written, it is truly masterful, and to be honest, I really can't think of anything else he has written that compares; not even American Pie. This song is one on its own- a bit like 'Time in a bottle' by Jim Croce.

the dedication really made me cry. Aside from a slightly too fast disolve pace, very very nicely done...when you start with art and music like that though..can't be too hard to put together...but, please don't misunderstand, it was a touching and beautiful piece.
