But now, everyone is like Fantasia WHO? at least Diana DeGarmo is doing broadway, Jennifer Hudson won a grammy, was in three major movies and has a record coming out Fantasia just sat on her ass and wrote a book about how she can't read :) I love Jennifer Hudson!

i don't think she's necessarily trying to sing like a man. i think she very much sounds like a woman and is just trying to put emotion into the song. as far as being off key goes, not too many would even come remotely close to pulling off that song so nobody can really say much about that. i agree it's not one of her best performances but still good. :)
