| dude contenders are no were near an eagle. i happen to own a contender (though it does have concrete shattering effects) and its not even close 2 a .50 or .45 eagle. i am an avid fan of the contender though |

| What are you talking about you? What has a crouching couger symbol? The DE? What says super14? Your contender? What caliber is your contender in? I have an Encore pistol with a 15" fluted barrel in 30-06, and some of my extra barrels are in .223 AI, 30-30 AI, regular 30-30, .243, .22-250 and I am looking forward to getting a 45-70 :) I didnt mean to offend you I was just a little upset because there are so many posers on youtube. I do belive that you may have a contender. They are fun... |

| To sum it up for you bud. Tommy Contender is a single shot weapon, normally chambered for High Velocity rifle rounds. Whereas the DEagle is a mag fed semi-auto big nasty but fun handful! The difference in downrange energy is substantial. Both are lethal. Using the formulae MV2 (Mass x Velocity - squared). You get to understand the difference in muzzle energy. Eg: .50AE is around 300gr head at around 1500fps. 30-06 is around 180gr+ at around 2800fps. Apprx 1500ft/lbs to 3500-4000ft/lbs. You dig? |
