nothing against italy. but the label `italo disco
´ is annoying me: nobody in the early 80s from where this music from berlin comes was using this item. and nobody who buyed records by the twins was thinking about italy. it just was synthie pop or electro pop or wave (in its good moments) - but it was´nt all just italo pop.

Funny thing is, A German producer coined the phrase "Italo Disco" and it stuck. It also made German label ZYX records very successful! So "Italo" refers to a synth 80s music that could be from anywhere. As far as the Twins, they always sounded more "New Wave" than "italo Disco"....
