Video Description:
PLEASE READ THIS - This is the dance from the schlock classic, "She Demons" (1958). The film was directed by Richard E Cunha and starred Tod Griffin, Victor Sen Yung and the lovely Irish McCalla in a rare film role. Irish was most famous as the blonde jungle goddess, Sheena Queen of the Jungle (see my numerous clips from that series on Youtube). Please also visit the page about this film on my site - terrororstralis.com. The gals playing the she-demons are The Diane Nellis Dancers. Make sure you check out the poorly-rehearsed jumping knee-slap at about 2m 30s.

I am so glad to have "met" Paul, he has done a wonderful job, I am proud to have named named after Irish. She was a gifted artist and remained a charming, good-looking woman even in her senior years, she retained the incredible bone structure, but the beauty withen Irish was even more remarkable, alway's gracious, and happy to have her photo taken with fans, she was very in touch with folks from all walks of life. An outstanding tribute to the human spirit! I love you Irish wherever you are!

"She Demons" is pure classic schlock. It's got statuesque Irish McCalla as a spoiled rich babe, whip-cracking Nazis, monster-faced jungle girls, incomprehensible science, and . . . CHOREOGRAPHY! Of course, we're not exactly talking Agnes de Mille here.
