Yeah you can get addon planes some free and some you have to pay for both are good but the paywaer ones are good. you can google addons for FSX.

2GB memory isnt everything. You need a strong processor, prefferably a dual core and up.
But wait....all that still isnt enough. You need one of those high end graphic cards. Actually, its all in the GPU and if you're an NVIDIA fan, you'll need at least an 8 series and up. If you can afford the 8800GTX, even better. If you can afford the 9800 GX2, way to go. But you'll have to part with upto $600 for that one.

runs fine on my xfx 7600gt xxx all details and max realism. rest of pc is 3 gigs 533mhz ddr2 ram and an athlon x2 4200+. xp dx9 30fps (vsync limited,lcd screen) only bugging thing is not storing textures for long enough, there's noticable loading switching views, you'll see a textureless cockpit for a sec or 2. this is due to my card only having 256 mb and has to swap textures due to the limited memory space. it still runs fine otherwise though.

find and check the realism options. default in fsx after install is akin to arcade mode. you need to adjust the settings after installing to get "simulation" mode.

Try to run Crysis! I ran the demo on my PC for a few minutes and then the PSU went out.
Q6600 @2.4
768MB Geforce 8800 Ultra
3GB RAM
I think the only thing holding back my PC is the fact I am running the minimum requirements for PSU.(That is why it blew, but I had a warranty and got a new one. So I was like what the hell!)

When microsoft presented this game to Prince Philippe of Belgium they did it with a Logitech Extreme 3d pro
i use it too, it's ok but some people might not like that it hasn't force feedback, its your basic quality joystick

thanks, i got this game a year ago and i was to buy a joystick for it but still have not got one and i got a new computer from dell last week and it got a quad core processor and i installed this game and it is super fast at loading and i am getting a joy stick for it now. good game!!!!
